Old MacDonald Peekaboo
The old song with a hiding game inside it. Four animals hide on the farm, and after every verse the real animal answers — a moo, a baa, an oink, a quack.

Old MacDonald had a farm, sung through four times, and between the verses a game. A black-and-white tail flicks behind a hay bale, a tuft of wool sticks out of a haystack, a curly pink tail wiggles behind a flower pot, an orange webbed foot pokes out of the reeds. Tibino cups his ear, points, asks whether it is hiding over there — and then Daisy, Woolly, Rosie and Quackers step out one by one with a peekaboo and their own sound. The last verse has all of them together in the farmyard.
Children who already know the song and can sing the E-I-E-I-O part. Each round is the same shape, so a two-year-old has worked out by the second animal that something is about to step out.
The four best-known farm sounds, the words of Old MacDonald, and that a tail or a foot is enough to guess who is hiding.
